Unlocking
nature’s blueprint for healthier, happier kids.

A collaborative, quantum approach to children’s growth and development, harnessing the best of dentistry, cranial osteopathy and holistic health.
We see the full picture, not just the symptoms.

Towards a new paradigm.

As parents, if we think there’s a better way for our kids, we’ll seek it out.

Traditionally in healthcare, we’re reliant on finding a number of specialist practitioners depending on what’s “wrong”. Injuries, maladies and illness are divided into systems, regions and the specialists who look after them, often working as alone siloed clinicians in their respective disciplines.

On the flip side, the huge movement of parents wanting to find a “holistic” solution hasn’t gone unnoticed.

At The Quantum Kid, we don’t just address the symptoms such as crooked teeth, snoring or even the airway. Rather, we uncover the full picture and root cause of what is going on for your child and collaborate on what’s really nee
ded for full expression of robust health.

Is The Quantum Kid right for my child?

- mouth breathing
- sleep issues
- waking up tired
- snoring
- teeth grinding
- enlarged tonsils/adenoids
- crooked teeth
- speech delays and speech issues
- low energy and vitality
- allergies
- headaches
- pain
- bedwetting
- challenging behaviour and mood
- intuitively knowing that your child just isn’t thriving the way they should!

We see patients for a wide range of health concerns, ranging from specifically identified symptoms to parental intuition - a knowing “something isn’t right for my child” or that the health advice they have received just doesn’t feel right.

Some of the symptoms we see at The Quantum Kid clinic include;

How does it work?

… and how do we start?!

Why choose The Quantum Kid Clinic?

a) You’re tired of being passed around from practitioner to practitioner, you’re not finding answers and the advice you have been given just doesn’t feel right.

b) You have just become aware that your child’s symptoms may be related to their jaw growth and facial development.

c) You want to super charge your child’s overall health and support them to be the best they can be!

Even in functional dentistry things can seem a little “doom and gloom”, not enough “width” not enough “airway”. Or maybe you have been told nothing can be done until your child is older and offered solutions such as extractions, braces and interventions that just don’t sit right with many switched on parents - parents whose research and opinions can often be disregarded by the very people they seek to help them.

At The Quantum Kid we seek to reverse this paradigm and are actively striving to provide a truly revolutionary treatment option focussed on the individual.

We do not focus on the symptom, syndrome, disease or problem. Our treatment approach stems from the belief that the body has an inherent drive to move towards true health and our aim is to gently guide your child to this full expression of robust health without constant need for treatments, surgery, fads, hacks or endless supplements.

At Quantum Kid, Jalal Khan and Cole Clayton work together as a collaborative team with decades of combined experience in dentistry, osteopathy, breathing therapy, corrective exercise, quantum health coaching and yes, we’re parents too!

Combining skills, experience and clinical consultation means that we can address a broad scope of factors that contribute to this inherent capacity for health in your quantum kid including:

  • Facial development (including teeth, jaws and airways). Remember, “form follows function" - beautiful faces and smiles don’t just look good, they work better!

  • Dynamic fluid flow, in particular the flow and drainage of the lymphatics and cerebra-spinal fluid, essential for brain health and sleep

  • Full analytics relative to the inherent geometry of the face and cranium (no, you don’t need X-Ray if you’re adverse to it)

  • Assessing and treat the function of the Autonomic Nervous System via sleep, breathing, digestion, light and treating inherent strains in the skull

  • Training facial muscles, tongue and swallow function, a critical factor for growth and retention

  • Improving posture and musculoskeletal function - including the addressing the feet, pelvis, core, rib cage, neck and jaw joints

  • Coaching quantum coherence via environment, play, light and nutrition

Meet the team.

B.Dent (USyd), B. Med.Sci (UNSW)

Jalal, also known as Dr Khan—although he is not one for formalities—sees dentistry as something deeply personal. He understands that patients are entrusting him with their health, and often the health of their families, which he considers a true honour.

What drives Jalal is his deep commitment to empowering patients to achieve optimal health. This has led him to continually explore the cutting edge of both dentistry and medicine, supported by his extensive study in the field of quantum biology.

Over the years, Jalal’s approach has evolved from focusing solely on the teeth to understanding the importance of the jaws. Still, he felt there was a crucial piece missing.

By joining forces with Cole, Jalal believes he has found what he describes as the holy grail of dentistry: understanding that the jaws are an extension of the cranium and using this knowledge to guide craniofacial development in children and craniofacial rehabilitation in adults.

Jalal has not felt this excited about dentistry since he graduated. His journey has taken him beyond the role of dentist and towards becoming an oral physician.

M.Ost.Med, M.Hlth (Clin. Rehab.), B.Clin.Sci, BFA

Cole has worked in the health arena since 1998 and began his parenting journey in 2003 with the birth of the eldest of his four children.

In 2010, Cole was introduced to the world of functional dentistry, and it has captivated him ever since. A few months later, while completing his first master’s degree and working towards entry into dental school, he met an osteopath who would change the course of his life and career.

Alongside his university studies, Cole was mentored in cranial osteopathy. Through this discipline, he developed a deep and enduring fascination with the way the skull, brain and spine interact—particularly in shaping the structures of the face, airways, teeth, lips and tongue.

Having experienced sleep-disordered breathing as a child, Cole remained undiagnosed until the age of 34, when he discovered the power of functional breathing and its impact on energy, fitness and overall health.

From the first day he woke without lingering fatigue, Cole knew his mission was to help children experiencing breathing and sleep difficulties find support sooner than he had.

For Cole, The Quantum Kid brings together the many threads of his career, personal experiences and parenting journey, culminating in an approach he believes can be truly life-changing for the children and families he serves.

Matthew Price (Osteopath, North Sydney)

Dr. Matthew Price has been working holistically with the human body for over a decade. After graduating with a Master’s degree in Osteopathic Medicine, he continued his studies at the Australian College of Nutrition and Environmental Medicine. He believes strongly in the impact of our living environments and diets on overall health and is always on the lookout for hidden drivers of dysfunction in the body.

Nutrition and healthy living environments are just one of Matthew’s areas of special interest. Others include dysfunctional breathing patterns, sleep hygiene, and craniosacral therapy within the cranial-dental paradigm.

Matthew enjoys working with people of all ages. His treatment approach is gentle and effective, utilizing both subtle and firmer techniques depending on each person’s unique needs and presentation.

In addition, Matthew is an excellent listener and brings honesty to every interaction. He dedicates much of his time to continued professional development, constantly expanding his knowledge and skill set while remaining open and curious about how he can best support those who seek his guidance.

Isabel Pyne (Osteopath, North Sydney)

Isabel realised early in her career that she wanted to be in a role that allowed her to listen to the body’s intelligence. With a special interest in pediatric and cranial osteopathy, she feels privileged to offer compassionate care and help children reach their full expression of health.

Her journey began with a deep curiosity about the connection between cranial osteopathy and dental care. She worked in a setting that allowed her to explore the impact of functional breathing, the nervous system, and cranial osteopathy on patients undergoing dental treatment.

Isabel is deeply fascinated by the complexity of the human body. What she loves most about being an osteopath is the opportunity to weave together the threads of a person’s story and understand how those experiences are reflected in the body.

Having received osteopathic treatment during her own childhood and witnessing her siblings journey’s, Isabel experienced firsthand the profound benefits it can offer growing bodies. This sparked a strong belief that every child deserves access to this level of care. She resonates deeply with the mission of The Quantum Kid, which puts children and their innate intelligence first—an approach she feels truly reflects the heart of osteopathy.

Her treatment style is gentle, soothing for the nervous system, and supportive of long-term health through lifestyle medicine.

Dr Lisa Huynh (Dentist, North Sydney)

While dentistry is Lisa’s profession, her heart lies in nurturing the potential of her own children—and all children—to grow into their happiest, healthiest and most vibrant selves.

Like many parents, Lisa felt a strong pull of intuition when it came to her children’s health. Trusting that inner voice is what led her to The Quantum Kid.

The toes-to-nose approach not only transformed her children’s wellbeing, but also profoundly changed the way Lisa and her family understand what it truly means to be healthy.

As a proud advocate of the QK philosophy, Lisa brings together her expertise as a dentist, her experience as a mum and her understanding of quantum health principles to provide a holistic, whole-body approach to your child’s care. Her aim is to listen to your concerns, understand your hopes and help your child thrive.

Lisa feels deeply honoured to be part of the QK team and looks forward to meeting you and your family.

Dr Lou Barr (Dentist, Byron Bay)

Lou is a proud dentist with nearly two decades of clinical experience across the UK and Australia. Becoming a mother was the catalyst that reshaped the way she viewed her profession, revealing a crucial piece that had been missing.

Lou believes dentistry is about far more than simply fixing teeth. It is about understanding how oral health connects to the whole body and addressing the root causes of health concerns through a truly holistic approach.

She is deeply passionate about The Quantum Kid philosophy and everything it represents: a child-first, individualised, nurturing and supportive approach during the most formative stages of life. For Lou, supporting children to tap into their innate capacity to heal, grow and become vital, vibrant beings is an absolute privilege.

Outside the clinic, Lou is a mum to a three-year-old and lives in the beautiful hinterland with her partner. She feels incredibly grateful to balance family life with meaningful work, creating a life that feels gentle, authentic and deeply fulfilling.
